We believe it is important to provide the children of South Camden with a safe day camp in their area during the summer. However, we also believe that it is a life changing opportunity for a child to experience a week outside of the city; to meet children from all walks of life, experience nature, participate in new activities, and learn more about Jesus.
During the summer, Fellowship House Children’s Program runs a four-week day camp. Churches and Christian organizations partner with Fellowship House to provide fun and dynamic Christian programming. The day camp includes breakfast, lunch, four classes, and an opening time filled with songs, games, and Bible lessons.
We partner with various organizations to provide the children with opportunities to go to camps outside of the city. It is a great experience for the children as they meet children from different backgrounds and see places they would not normally have the chance to see.
We partner with Camp Streamside in the Poconos (4th grade), Camp Haluwasa, NJ (3rd grade), and Camp Seaville, NJ (2nd grade).
