Addictions Recovery Program

Fellowship House's Addictions Recovery Program is a service for substance abuse users who are seeking a lasting relationship with Jesus Christ as the key to becoming free from drugs and alcohol.

Fellowship House is a non-profit organization that is committed to reaching the people of Camden with the love of Christ.

  1. Rapha's Twelve Steps (with Scripture references)
  • Step #1: We admit that by ourselves we are powerless over chemical substances or other addictions-that our lives have become unmanageable. (Romans7:18)
  • Step #2: We come to believe that God, through Jesus Christ, can restore us to sanity. (II Corinthians 12:9)
  • Step #3 We make a decision to turn our lives over to God, through Jesus Christ. (Luke 9:23)
  • Step #4: We make a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. (Lamentations 3:40)
  • Step #5: We admit to God, to ourselves and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. (James 5:16)
  • Step #6: We commit ourselves to obedience to God, desiring that He remove patterns of sin from our lives. (Isaiah 1:9)
  • Step #7: We humbly ask God to renew our minds so that our sinful patterns can be transformed into patterns of righteousness. (James 4:10)
  • Step #8: We make a list of all persons we have harmed, and become willing to make amends to them all. (Matthew 5: 23-24)
  • Step #9: We make direct amends to such people where possible, except when doing so will injure them or others. (Luke 6:38)
  • Step #10: We continue to take personal inventory, and when we are wrong, promptly admit it. (Romans 12:3
  • Step #11: We seek to grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, study of His word, meditation and obedience, praying for wisdom and power to carry out His will. (Romans 12:3)
  • Step #12: Having had a spiritual awakening: we try to carry the message of Christ's grace and restoration power to others who struggle with addictions, and to practice these principles in all of our affairs. (Romans 12:3)
