Program for Teens
One of the main visions of the Fellowship House Ministries is to provide local, positive peer leaders for the children in our program. The Teen Program allows us to reconnect with teens that were a part of the ministry by providing them with employment opportunities, social activities, and a positive mentor relationship with adults.
The Job-Training Program provides the teens with an alternative from the temptations and dangers of the streets, through the critical hours of 3-6pm during the academic year and through the summer months. During their Job-Training, teens lead classes of children by tutoring and providing positive role-models.
The teen program also allows the ministry to connect with other teens through counseling and social activities. This provides a good support for many of the teens in the area and motivates them to build a future and grow in Christ.
Many of the teens in our ministry are now attending college. This is a great achievement for many of them, especially coming from Camden. However, as we all know, we need financial support to be able to complete these years.
